• It is abbreviated as FMDC, is a medical college located in Islamabad ,Pakistan. 
• FMDC was established in 2012.
• The college gives admission to 100 MBBS students each year. 
• It is a Federal govt College and its test is conducted by NTS. The college has not started BDS yet. FMDC is a constituent Medical College of Shaheed Zulfiqar ALI Bhutto Medical University.
• Federal Medical & Dental College  is  constituent part of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University Islamabad and is recognized by PMDC & Ministry of Health. 
• The college is listed in the International Medical Education Directory (IMED) & WHO Directory Of Medical Schools. 
• The college has two attached teaching hospitals,

2. PAKISTAN INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCE(PIMS).
